PCACAC is seeking dedicated and passionate members to join our Leadership Team! We invite nominations for the positions of President-Elect and Executive Vice President. Serving in these roles offers an opportunity to guide our association, advocate for our profession, and contribute to the success of our members and students.

Available Positions and Responsibilities
President-Elect (Three-Year Commitment) Read more about this position on p. 4 of the Procedure Manual.
- Serves a three-year leadership term: one year as President-Elect, one year as President, and one year as Immediate Past President
- Leads the Conference Sessions Committee and provides strategic oversight for professional development initiatives, including the Annual Conference, Summer Institute, Special Interest Groups (SIGs), and broader professional development programs
- Represents PCACAC at NACAC Leadership Programs, including the Leadership Engagement and Development (LEAD) Program, which consists of a summer meeting, a pre-NACAC annual conference meeting, and virtual sessions throughout the year
- Collaborates with the Leadership Team to establish organizational goals and long-term strategies
- Works with the Executive Board to foster cross-committee collaboration, ensuring alignment and synergy in achieving PCACAC’s objectives
- Supports professional development initiatives and represents PCACAC at both regional and national events, advocating for members and expanding engagement opportunities

- Provides administrative leadership and strategic direction for key PCACAC initiatives
- Serves as a liaison to major committees, including the Communications Committee and the College Fairs Committee, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
- Oversees PCACAC’s communications, marketing strategies, and the execution of college fairs throughout the region
- Plays a pivotal role in revenue generation through effective coordination and promotion of college fairs
- Records minutes for all meetings and manages Leadership Team reports to ensure transparency and accountability
- Supports membership engagement initiatives and contributes to professional development programming to enhance member experience and participation
Eligibility and Expectations
- Nominees must be individual voting members of PCACAC
- Nominees for President-Elect must be NACAC members to serve in the affiliate presidential cycle
- Candidates should have a history of active engagement in PCACAC and a commitment to advancing the association’s mission
- Proven leadership and or management experience
- Experience working with volunteer organizations preferred or chairing a committee
- Institutional support is required for travel to conferences, board meetings, and other organizational events
Nomination Process
- Nominations, including self-nominations, must be submitted by February 28, 2025
- If nominating a colleague, please discuss the role, responsibilities, and expectations with them beforehand
- Submit a Letter of Interest (500 words max) detailing:
- Why the nominee is interested in serving
- Relevant professional experience and leadership qualifications
- Vision for their role within PCACAC
- Provide a CV/Resume highlighting involvement in PCACAC, NACAC, and other professional organizations.
